Blackpool (BLK): Location: On the southern edge of the City & 5 km/3 Miles from the centre, near Lytham St. Anne's. By Taxi: To the town centre £5/5 mins. A courtesy phone is next to the public phone in arrivals. Blacktax 01253 596 596 or 01253 508 508. By Bus: Buses run to and from the entrance to the airport and Blackpool, North Fylde and Lytham St. Anne's. National Express runs coaches to Squires Gate train station near the airport. By Train: The airport terminal is only 5 mins walk from the Squire's Gate train station from which regular trains run to Preston train station. From Preston station there are regular rail links to the rest of the UK. Rental Cars: Hertz 01253 344 010. ●Car Hire Blackpool Airport. Carlisle (CAX): Location: 10 km/6 Miles ENE of Carlisle, 5 km/3 Miles W of Brampton. By Taxi: Airbus 2000 Taxis 016977 3735. If you need the airport reception to arrange a taxi for you on arrival, call the airport switchboard on 01228 573641. By Bus or Train: At present there are no bus or rail links to the Airport. Durham - Tees Valley/Teeside (MME): Location: 11 km/7 Miles SW of Stockton-on-Tees, 8 km/5 Miles ESE of Darlington, 11 km/7 Miles W of Middlesborough & 31 km/19 Miles S of Durham. By Taxi & Limo: 0785 564 2947. To Newcastle £45-50. To Durham ~35 mins. To Darlington (for the train station) ~20 mins. Available from front of terminal.

By Bus:

Arriva Bus #74 run every 30-60 mins between the Airport, Darlington and Neasham. Route: Airport - Oak Tree - Middleton One Row - Middleton St George - Dinsdale - Morton Park Morrison's - Darlington Town Centre - Croft on Tees - Hurworth Place (The Comet) - Hurworth on Tees - Hurworth (Emmerson Rd) - Neasham (Library). Early morning trips do not call at Middleton. Not all buses continue beyond Darlington to Neasham.

Departs the Airport Mon-Fri: 0720, 0743, 0950, then every 60 mins until 1550, 1620, 1725, 1750, 1803, 1828 & 1843.

Arriva Bus #20 runs to Middlesborough Mon-Sat. £1.80/35-45 mins. Route: Airport - Trees Park Village - Urlay Nook - Orchard Estate - Yarm High St (50 mins) - Stockton on Tees (1 hour 15) - Teesdale/Durham University (1 hour 20) - Middlesborough Bus Station (1 hour 35) - Middlesborough Town Hall - James Cook Hospital (1 hour 50).

Departs the airport Mon-Fri: 0802, 0933 then every hour until 1633, 1719 & 1819. Sat: 0833 then every hour until 1633, 1719 & 1819. No Sunday bus.

Departs Middlesborough Town Hall Mon-Fri: 0704, 0804, 0914, then every hour until 1714 & 1819. Sat: 0704, 0804, 0914, then every hour until 1714 & 1814.

Sky Express Bus The Tees Valley Sky Express 737 bus runs between the airport, Darlington train station & Darlington Town Hall. The route is a triangular one routing: Airport - Train tation - Town Hall - Airport. No service on Christmas Day.

By Train: The nearest main train station is Darlington, from where you can catch a bus or taxi to the airport. Trains from Darlington run to Durham and all over the country. Humberside (HUY): Location: 18 km/11 Miles S of Kingston-upon-Hull, 18 km/11 Miles W of Grimsby & 19 km/12 Miles E of Scunthorpe. By Bus: The airport is served by the Stagecoach 909 and 910 service which runs to Sheffield and Grimsby via Doncaster and Scunthorpe. Mon-Sat it runs every hour and Sunday it runs every 2 hrs. Call 01482 222222 for more details. By Train: Barnetby Railway Station is 3 miles away with direct connections to Doncaster and from there onto most other UK cities and towns. Leeds Bradford (LBA): Location:11 km/7 Miles NW of Leeds. 10 km/6 Miles NE of Bradford. By Taxi & Limo: Regular Airport Taxi: To Leeds ~£14/25 mins. To Bradford ~£11/25 mins.

By Bus:

LBA Airlink 757 runs every half hour from Otley or Leeds City Centre Bus and Rail Stations and hourly outside peak times. It calls at all Metro stops between Leeds/Otley and the Airport, and starts from Leeds City Bus Station at 0600, from the Railway Station 5 mins later and runs until 2200 daily (Sundays 0800-2000 hourly). You can buy your ticket in advance or on the bus and there is ample luggage space onboard. Metro Concessions, MetroCards and DayRovers can be used on this service, which is now operated by Aztecbird Ltd of Guiseley with fully accessible vehicles. First Leeds These buses also run to the airport.

First Bradford (01274 734833) operate local bus services 647, 651 & 747 from Bradford, Shipley, Guiseley & Yeadon to the Airport Mon-Sat only and between Bradford, the Airport and Otley Mon-Sat evenings and all day Sundays.

By Train: ◊Nearest railway station is Horsforth, some 10 mins/2 miles away by taxi. Trains run every half an hour from Leeds City and Harrogate during the day and once an hour off peak. Taxis cost ~£5. There is also a LBA Airlink 757 coach service to and from Leeds City Station connecting with local Metro services. ◊If you are coming by train from Ilkley or Skipton, the nearest rail station is at Guiseley where connections can be made to Bus#651.
