Fukuoka 福岡市 (FUK):  Location: 4 km/2 Miles E of the city.  By Taxi: „1500-2000/15-20 mins. Tips are neither required nor expected.
By Bus:
City Bus#1 From the Domestic terminals 2 & 3 to Fukuoka Tower Minami-guchi, Noko-tosenjo (via Fukuoka Dome),
Hakata Station/Tenjin & Diamond City. JPY 250-400/20-30 mins.
Expressway Bus #1 Runs from Domestic terminal 3 Kokura, Saga, Yufuin/Kuju/Beppu, Shimonoseki (night service only), Miyazaki (night service only)
Expressbus #1 Runs from Domestic terminal 3 to Iizuka & Tagawa
Expressbus #2 Runs from Domestic terminal 2 to Iizuka & Tagawa
Shuttle Bus Connects the various terminals for free.
By Subway Train: A free shuttlebus from outside the Intl Terminal runs 0700-2140 to the Domestic Terminals, where the subway station is located. Subway then runs to the city for „250. Frequency: every10 mins, Journey Time: 15 mins. Nagoya - Chubu Centrair Intl (NGO):  Location: 32 km/20 Miles SSW of the city centre on reclaimed land in the sea.  By Road: To Nagoya City Centre 45 km/28 Miles/30-40 mins.  By Taxi: To Nagoya ~JPY 13000.  By Bus: A vast number of buses serve the airport. For full details see the airport website bus section.  By Train: A train link with Nagoya City is in operation. It takes just 28 min to get to Nagoya Station, where you can connect to the Shinkansen, JR Line, Kintetsu Line, and Subway. From Kanayama Station you can connect to the JR Line and the Subway. The Airport Train Station is connected to the terminal by a covered walkway.  By Boat: High Speed Boats run from Tsu to the airport. Nagoya 名古屋 - Komaki (NKM):  Location: 13 km/8 Miles N of Nagoya City.  By Taxi: ~JPY 5000/30-45 mins to the centre.  By Bus: Access by airport bus service Time Table is very convenient from the Meitetsu Bus Center („870/28 mins), Hirokoji Exit, Shinkansen Exit and from other surrounding areas, being served by 13 bus routes. Naha, Okinawa (OKA):  Location: 4 km/2 Miles WNW of Naha, 20 km/12 Miles SW of Okinawa town & 21 km/13 Miles SSW of Kadena town on Okinawa Island.  By Taxi: There are 2 taxi stands at the airport. They are Kinkyori Noriba (for short distance travel) and Chokyori Noriba (for long distance travel). To kadena ~JPY 5000/60 mins. For up to 9 passengers, you can also hire a Jumbo taxi (098 886 9700).  By Bus: Local buses #13, #124 or #125 leave the airport and run to Naha Bus Terminal. Airport Resort Bus#120 offers an express service stopping only at scheduled bus stops en-route to Kadena. It takes ~60 mins and the fare is JPY 820 to Kadena. It runs every hour. Osaka 大阪 - Kansai Intl (KIX):  Location: 38 km/24 Miles SW of Osaka on its own island.  Driving directions: Road access to the airport island is via a dedicated access bridge (with a toll gate on entry), connecting to an expressway which serves all directions. Road distance 51 km/31 Miles.  By Taxi: To the city ~JPY 18 000/50 mins. Taxis are readily available outside the passenger terminal.  By Bus: OCAT Bus#880 runs into the city for JPY 400/45 mins.  By Ferry: There are 4 sea ferry routes, from Kobe Port Island, Osaka (Tenpozan), Awaji Island (Tsuna) and Tokushima. Osaka 大阪 - Itami (ITM):  Location: Closer to Osaka city than Kansai. 14 km/9 Miles NNW of Osaka.  By Taxi: To Osaka City ~JPY 6000/20-30 mins.   By Bus: To Osaka City every 10 mins 0815-2115. Adult „620/Child „310/30 mins. Airport Limousine bus leaves the South terminal and goes to every bus stop via the North terminal.  By Train: A monorail runs to Hotarugaike station every 10-15 mins. Sapporo - New Chitose (CTS):  Location: 4 km/2 Miles SE of Chitose & 40 km/25 Miles SE of Sapporo.  By Taxi: To Saporo JPY 13000-15000/50-60 mins.  By Bus: A bus runs to Sapporo for JPY 800/60-70 mins.  By Shuttle Van: Skybus (+81 80 3266 5685 outside Japan & 050-3111-1846 within Japan) provide a door to door shuttle from the airport to your hotel or home. They also speak English and Japanese well. Cost JPY 300.  By Train: The train runs to Sapporo for JPY 1100/40 mins. If going from the airport to Sapporo, don't get off at Shin Sapporo station, but stay on until Jr Sapporo. Tokyo 東京 - Haneda (HND):  Location: On the bay, much closer to central Tokyo than Narita.  By Bus: Airport Limousine Tel +81 3 3665 7220, run coaches all over the city and to Narita Airport. To the city centre JPY 600-900/15-40 mins. To Disney Resort JPY 810/50 mins.  Airport to Airport: Limousine buses serve the International Narita airport.  Updated Dec04 www.  [back].[top]

Tokyo 東京 - Narita 成田 (NRT):  Location: 65 km/41 Miles E of Tokyo City Centre.  Driving directions: The airport has road links to the Higashi-Kanto Expressway and Route 295, and to nearby cities including Tokyo, Narita, Shibayama and Tako. Pax are advised to check the terminal they will be using before setting out to the airport since the terminals are 1½km/1 mile apart. There are security checks at the road entrance to the airport.  By Taxi: Taxis and chauffeur-driven limousines are available, but can take a long time to reach the city centre due to traffic. Reported cost ~JPY 22-25 000/60-90 mins.  By Bus: The dedicated airport bus runs every 15-30 mins 0645-2300 and takes about 90 mins to the city centre, depending on traffic. Cost JPY 3000.  By Train: Passengers should check which terminal they require before setting out to the airport. The terminals have separate railway stations. Keisei Electric Railway provides both regular trains and a Skyliner service („920), for which a reservation and supplementary ticket is necessary. Journey time to central Tokyo: 60 mins. Japan Railways' reservation-only Narita Express runs every 30-60 mins 0745-2145 („3140) and non-reservation rapid trains serve Tokyo and regional destinations.  Rental Cars: Nippon, Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi & Orix.  Notes: BA, VS, CX, SQ Term 1 QF Term 2.
