| Bus 69 (& N69 at night) 24 hr service | runs from outside the airport to Canning town Station (for connections via the Jubilee line, the DLR or Silverlink Metro for stations as far as Richmond), Plaistow, Stratford, Leytonstone, Leyton and Walthamstow central station. At night they run ~every 30 mins and up to every 10 mins during the day. |

| The nearest rail stations to the airport are Silvertown and City Airport station, which is a 5 minute walk from the terminal. For further info on train times call the National Rail Enquiry service on 08457 48 49 50. | |
| Airport shuttle buses run from the front of the terminal connect the airport with the Underground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and Mainline train stations. Tickets for shuttle buses can be purchased from machines near the bus stop or from the driver. Alternatively, buy a one-day travelcard (suitable for buses, trains, DLR and Underground) from the British Hotel Reservation Desk, opposite the Intl Arrivals door. | |
| The green shuttle bus | Runs to Canning Town Station (£3/5-10 mins), where you can pick up the Jubilee Line on the Underground, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) or the Silverlink train service to places like Richmond, Camden Road or West Hampstead. It runs Mon-Fri 0608-2133 every 10 mins, Sat 0608-1058 every 10 mins & Sun 1053-2133 also every 10 mins. For info call 020 7646 0088. |
| The blue shuttle bus | goes to Liverpool Street Station (£6), via Canary Wharf (£3.50). At Canary Wharf, you can take the Jubilee Line on the Underground or the DLR into the centre of town. The bus journey takes 10 mins to Canary Wharf and costs £3.50 adults, £1 children. For those staying on until Liverpool Street, the journey takes ~30 mins. From Liverpool Street Station you can take the Central, Jubilee, Circle, Metropolitan & Hammersmith & City Lines on the Underground into town, plus mainline services. |
