Bergen - Flesland (BGO): Location: 13 km/8 Miles SSW of the City. By Road: 16 km/10 miles/25-60 mins depending on traffic. By Taxi: Taxis wait outside the airport. They are faster than the Airport Bus, but they cost a lot more, ~NOK 240-300/25 mins to the center of Bergen. If you are travelling during peak times allow extra time for traffic. Bergen Taxis Tel 07000. By Bus: ◊The best way to get into center of Bergen is by the frequent bus service (Flybussen) which leaves from outside the terminal frequently. To the airport: leaving from Radisson SAS Royal Hotel at Bryggen (buses depart Mon-Fri 0425-2055 every 20-30 mins), via Radisson SAS Hotel Norge and the bus station (platform 17) to the airport and return (the same route). Departures from the airport are Mon-Fri 0730-2020. Weekend services are similar but a little less frequent. Adults NOK 65, children NOK 25/25 mins off-peak hours, 55 mins or more at busy times. For departure times, ask the airlines or at the Tourist Information. From Tronheim, the bus starts at the Lerkendal Stadion and stops at the Student's Society, the city square and main hotels downtown. Route: Airport, Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel, Central Railway Station, Hotel Rainbow Gildevangen, Munkegaten,Market Place & Lerkendal Stadium. Buses depart Lerkendal Stadion 4 times an hour during the week, and 2-4 times an hour at weekends. Travel time ~50 mins. By Train: A 220m/3 minute walk E of the airport terminal, and well sign-posted, is Vaernes train station. From here trains depart to Hell (2 mins), Trondhein (33 mins), Størdal (3 mins), Levanger (55 mins), Verdal (70 mins), Mo i Rana (6-7 hrs), Bodø (10-11 hrs) & Mosjøen (5:30).
