Florence/Firenze - Peretola/Amerigo Vespucci (FLR): Location: 6 km/4 miles NW of the City. By Taxi: €13-16/15-20 mins. By Bus: There are buses operated by SITA between the airport and Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Train Station every hour from 0600, takes 20-30 mins. Pisa - Galileo Galilei (PSA): Location: 3 km/2 Miles S of Pisa, 80 km/50 miles W of Florence/Firenze. By Taxi: ◊Call 050 541600. Typical fare to Pisa €4-8/10 mins. An excess of €2 applies on Sundays and holidays. ◊To Florence/Firenze ~€130/45-60 mins. Ensure that the driver switches on the meter at the start of your journey. ◊The new Collective Taxi service leaves the airport every 10 mins and run to the Train Station and to the Leaning Tower. It costs €2.50 per person and runs 0800-2400. Max 8 persons per taxi.

By Bus:

CPT Bus #3 The Compagnia Pisana Trhtmlorti (CPT) #3 bus runs to the city centre every 20 mins. The route passes by the leaning tower and stops at Pisa Central Station, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Riversides (4 stops) and Santa Chiara Hospital. The €0.80 ticket is valid for 1 hour on the entire city network. You can buy tickets from the info office in the terminal or the automatic ticket machine at the bus terminus, which is just outside the Arrivals area. It can be recognized by a green shelter marked City Bus. A second stop is on the departures side, near the car park cash desk.

Florence Coach A Coach service is reported to run to Florence/Firenze SITA coach station. Cost ~€10.

Terravision Coach There is a bus service operated by Terravision to Florence Santa Maria Novella station for €7.50, or €13.50 round trip. Children (2-12) half price. Takes ~70 mins. Departs Pisa Airport at 0820, 0950, 1120, 1210, 1300, 1430, 1525, 1700, 1800, 2140 & 2210. Departs Firenze 0530, 0720, 0810, 0920, 1000, 1200, 1300, 1350, 1440, 1650, 1800 & 1915.

By Train: Pisa Airport has its own train station. Direct railway lines connect the Airport to Florence, Lucca, Viareggio, Pistoia & Montecatini. Tickets can be bought at the info office in the terminal. There are 10 trains a day to Firenze/Florence 1026-0049, the line continuing to Pontedera and Empoli. One-way fare to Florence ~€5/60 mins. When leaving Florence you can check in for flights leaving Pisa, at the air terminal in Firenze SMN station on platform 5. Rental Cars: AVIS, Hertz, eSixT, EUROPCAR, Thrifty, EasyCar & AutoEuropa.
